Hello Footy Fans

Thumbing our noses at the Bureau of Met’s ‘90% probability of rain’ we had full sunshine for our Coaches and Managers meeting and U6 coaching session on Sunday. The U6’s looked like they were having a great time under the watch eyes of their new coaches and our Coaching Sub-committee. Further sessions will be planned, including a Goal Keepers workshop.

Draft teams have been issued and the coaches are now fully kitted up – they will be in touch shortly.

Outside of training, the next dates for your calendar:

* Saturday 22^nd March – Trial Day at SHP for all the junior teams at Sacred Heart Pymble (Coffee, BBQs, play area, etc – it is a good day);
* Saturday 29^th March – NSFA ‘welcome to football’ event for all U6 teams at Snives Showground;
* Saturday 5^th /Sunday 6^th April – first games of the season proper, there are two rounds scheduled prior to Easter.

For all coaches and interested parents: Grassroots Coaching Certificate (2½ hrs 6pm to 8.30pm – wear trainers):  

* 21st March - Warrimoo Oval, St Ives.  
* 24th March - Mills Park, Asquith.

Our new jerseys have arrived and look great (a big ‘Thanks you’ to Jamie Hill), they will be issued at the Trial Day (so please turn up early – schedule will be issued shortly).
