Prouille FC News - 3rd April 2014

Hi Footy Fans

This glorious rain has the fields looking great, and all is set for the first round this coming weekend.

Given that the newsletter is now only in electronic format, our match reports will be posted directly to our website this season. We will be in touch with coaches and managers this week with instructions.

Housekeeping:
* Grassroots training for coaches and interested parties, free of charge this coming Monday 7th April from 6.30pm at Kuringai High School, Bobbin Head Road. Please flick an email to Steve (HeadCoach@prouillesoccer.com.au);
* A pair of keepers gloves were lost at the SHP Trial Day, please let me know if you threw them in your kit bag;
* Managers/Coaches can purchase an appropriately sized set of keepers gloves for their team - please keep the reciept and we will reimburse;

As we kick off the season it is time to remind ourselves that it is all about getting the kids out and having fun with their mates, so coaches and manager please keep the vibe positive and happy.  In this vein I’d like to flashback to 1969 and congratulate Mr Guy Walsh for winning the Prouille ‘Coach of the Year’ award.

Clearly Guy has been an inspiration to the Prouille community for many decades. We may be inspired to re-instate this annual award!

Now let’s hope that the rain will hold off for training this week – looking forward to getting on to the pitch for Season 2014!
