Prouille FC News - 26th May 2014

Hello Footy Fans,

The sensational Autumn weather continues and all teams have been getting a good run.

For those of you who are wondering why there are no scores being posted for the MiniRoos games (previously known as SSG - u6 to u11), it is in response to a national push to decrease the emphasis on winning or losing for these age groups. Football for the younger kids should be about having fun with your mates, and developing discipline and skills that will last a life time.

Game reports can still be circulated by managers and posted to our website (www.prouillesoccer.com.au). Please keep an eye on our website as Mark Floresta is currently driving a revamp. For those who enjoy posting and viewing current and nostalgic photo's, please search for Prouille FC in Facebook - it is a closed group, only authorised members can view. Feel free to add your own content once you have gone through the authorisation process.

For the cooler months ahead Jamie Hill (uniforms@prouillesoccer.com.au) has the Prouille FC gear to keep you and your family warm and looking good:

* Children’s fleeces and training jackets – sizes available - 8, 10 & 12 ($30)

* Adult fleeces - Sizes available - S, M, L, XL & XXL - $35

* Adult training jackets – sizes available – S & M

* Prouille FC caps - $15

Could anyone who has been given a second jersey in a smaller size please ensure that the larger jersey is returned to Jamie via school, and any outstanding payments for gear should be left for Jamie at the office - cash or cheque payable to Prouille FC.

As we progress through the middle of the season remember that training is crucial so please make an effort - and please assist those who are having difficulties. Training together builds teamwork along with individual skills, and both are equally important.

So train hard, think triangles, and I'll see you on the field.
