Prouille FC News - 24th March 2014

Hello Footy Fans

Once again the weather held and we have a terrific Trial Day against Sacred Heart Pymble. I’d like to extend a huge ‘Thank you’ to our gracious SHP hosts and to the committee members who made it possible, especially Jamie Hill who had a long long day with the uniforms.  In the wake of the Trial Day we do have some items that were left at the field and that are now with Carlo in the office – two singlets/t-shirts and a pair of trainers (marked RIXON).

The new jerseys look great, with the U6 kindies bringing a smile to everyone’s face. Jamie is working with our new supplier to fix the sizing issue and we should be seeing additional smaller jerseys after Easter. You’ll be happy to know that they balanced the situation with the seniors’ jerseys being smaller than normal.

On the house keeping from we are looking for a Prouiller to put their hand up to help look after the welfare of Prouille FC members. This role is known as the MPIO (Member Protection Information Officer – previously the Child Protection Officer). It is pretty straight forward and could be handled in under an hour a week – the core work being the organization of Working With Kids documentation and being across the latest developments on the insurance front. Please drop me a note if you would like more information, and feel free to dob in an organized friend.

This coming Saturday the U6 Storm are playing in the NSFA Welcome to Football Day up at Snives Showground so we wish them all the best. It should be a fun day and it will help with the gradings for the start of the season proper. For the rest of us the next game is Saturday 5th April when the season kicks off.

In the mean time let’s ensure that training is held in a fun and constructive manner, and that we all pitch in to ensure that every player can get there!
